What Is Natural Latex?

100% natural latex is a milky fluid found in the bark of rubber trees.

Continuous tubes of latex known as “latex vessels” grow in a spiral around the bark of the rubber tree.

Most of the plantations which are responsible for the commercial production of latex are found in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The rubber trees themselves take 7 years to mature until they can be tapped and harvested for their Latex.

Today, a single highly productive tree has a life cycle for producing latex of about 28 years. Many trees can live up 100 years.

Latex can be tapped without destroying the tree or creating pollution.
